It has been a long time, but I am making a more consistant effort to try to update this more often.
In December I went to California with Farren to spend with family. I left here on the 10th. James joined us very early on Christmas morning. It was Farren's first Christmas. It was cool that he was 11 months old so he was more aware of things going on. He however was NOT interested in the unwrapping portion or een in some of the gifts at that. But the boxes, bags, paer and ribbons were all awesome to him. We drove back going the northern route. We stopped in Green River Wyoming to visit my bewst firnd Caprice and her family. Caprice is like a sister to me, I call her my sister and her kids call me their aunt. We got to go out and have fun with them as they have a 15 year old daughter who watched Farren. We decided that we deffinately need to get a 15 and 12 year old. LOL They were such big helpers with Farren taking care of him and doing things so we could just relax.
For Christmas James got me/us puppies. They are English bulldogs and will serve as emotional support animals for both my depression and anxiety and James' anxiety. Mine I named Clyde and James named his little girl Pearl. They are doing very well.
January 26, 2011 was bittersweet for me. Farren turned one. It made me reflect on the past year. Not only did we not expect to alreay have him a year ago since he was not due until March, but he has grown and got bigger and progresseed far better than some expected. We are very blessed that despite being premature, he has NO issues that are common with that. We had a birthday party and had several of our friends there with us. My dad and step-mom were there as well. I made his cake and he LOVED every minute of covering himself in the frosting. I did not know what an ugly color that turquoise and orange could make when mixed together and smeared everywhere. Farren had green boogers for the rest of that day. Between Christmas and his birthday he got so many toys and things.

February 2nd we were blessed with a new niece. My step-sister had her baby. i can't wait to meet her.
I am striving to get more active and also to be able to get out and about more with Farren. I am currently looking for playgroups or meetup groups in the area. Not only do I think it would be beneficial to him but to me as well. Like I previously stated, I will deffinately be better about keeping thisw up.
